By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. John 13:35

A post from Tony

So it's time for me to put in something, The last few years have been exciting and joy filled mainly do to Carrie allowing me to go do a few things. Two years ago I was able to go to the Indy 500, witch was the most exciting in history, where Marco Andretti as a rookie almost won. Last year I was able to go to the Barrett Jackson collector car auction and help a friend by a "67 Corvette Stingray 427. A gorgeous car, the best one in the auction and on live TV at the height of the auction, Sat day. He got a great car for the money and I felt like I really helped out.

I started a '69 428 Mach I Mustang project that will be at least a 5 year project. I really taking three cars and making one. I will add more about that one another day.

I got out of vintage racing for the time being. With the kids and time and money constraints, I felt like it was the right thing to do for now. A guy in the Netherlands ( yes across the ocean ) bought it. I have received a few emails from him and he seems real happy with the car. I purchased a 07 Shelby GT mustang and with about 800 miles on it, tore it apart and did some upgrades with a supercharger and had a special program made for the engine management system. It made 470hp at the rear wheels ( that's 548hp at the flywheel ). Needless said I am enjoying it a ton. It makes a great Daddy mobile. Alright that's it for now, I'm a lucky dad because you couldn't ask for a better set of kids to be watching over.

Halloween Pictures

Noelle dressed up as Pocahontas, the Indian Princess...
and Isaac was dressed as Micco, Pocahontas' raccoon sidekick.
Noelle went trick-or-treating in the cul-de-sac, but missed out on going to the church's Harvest Festival because of a bad attitude.
Don't you hate it when you have to follow through on your parenting threats!

This last picture is of Isaac on Nov 21, finally able to sit up steadily enough to get some play time in!

Harvest Farm

We've been so busy that I let the blog get away from me. So here's a few catch-up posts.

On October 20th, we went to a Harvest Farm to find a pumpkin and have some fun.

Noelle and Dad found the perfect pumpkin, which subsequently rotted on the floor inside our front door before Halloween ever came. We went through the mini-cornstalk maze and a hay bale maze. It was a very nice day with perfect weather.

Isaac's Dedication

On Sunday, October 7th, Isaac was dedicated at Christ Community Covenant Church.

Pastor Dave Scherrer shared our family's commitment for raising Noelle and Isaac to walk with Christ. It was great having Scott home to take part in this special day.

Pastor Art Greco sent this blessing to be read at Isaac's dedication...as Dave prayed over Isaac - Isaac looked him straight in the eye like he understood every word, it was amazing!
may the lord bless you with the same heart
he displayed when he wept over jerusalem;

may your greatest pain in life be the pain
you feel when people reject christ;
may you refuse to ever wear the masks
people hand you, or the labels people hurl at you;

and may the cross you bear for christ be that of a great man who chooses service over recognition.

may these things mark your life, isaac santonastaso;

and may you always cling to the anchor that is christ jesus.
